Opposite to what I thought at a first time, five days ago Pixelotto has been release and collected in that day, more than 80 thousand dollars, with many mini banners in the site. There is no doubt that Alex Tew has businessman’s blood.
About Pixelotto’s release, that same day the BBC published an article about what Alex Tew did in the past. They tell that Alex didn’t want to invest in other business ideas, but in buying a house. Could the best business be, the one in which we don’t invest?
Google will begin to sell advertising in 50 newspapers of the big USA cities, as the company announced yesterday, in diaries like The New York Times, The Washington Post and others newspapers like Gannet and McClatchy. Up to fifty newspapers and hundred advertisers will take part in this experiment.
And we said experiment because it is a three month long test, as an example of how Google tries to expand beyond the net, including projects of advertising in radio and television.
Google has just throw a new service (in beta), called Google Custom Search Engine (Google’s Personalize Seeker).
Actually, more than a new service, it’s the improvement of ” Adsense for search ” and also looks like the response to a very seemed service that Yahoo! offers. Between Google Co-op’s principal characteristics we have:
- Define search engine
- Refine searches (tags)
- Add logo
- Change result color and styles (title, text, links, and more)
- Include AdSense ads.
- Invite up to 100 collaborators for the seeker maintenance
- Available API
What it’s going to happen in the next months with Youtube? Enough of theories, in this video all the truth is discovered.
Eioba have published a very good article about the nine most spoken myths around Google Adsense, such as:
1. Wide ads (336×280, 300×250 and 250×250) are effective in many sites, we must included in ours.
2. Is more beneficial to develop sites that use better paid keywords words.
3. High Traffic + High CTR = High Income.
4. Be careful if your traffic suddenly increases, Google may think that you are doing spamming.
It’s happened to you. You’ve searched for something on Google and several promising results appear. You click on a link, but when you get to the site all you see are a few ads and nothing even remotely close to what you searched for. So you go back to the search results and try again, only it happens again and again until you finally find a page with some decent content…or frustration sets in and you give up all together.
Why does this happen? How come in this day and age Google can’t give you the results you’re looking for? A large part of the answer is the growing number of made for AdSense (MFA) sites on the web today. MFA sites are designed for the sole purpose of getting you to click on a Google AdSense advertisement.
Which would you prefer? Collecting 5¢ per click from Google AdSense? Or collecting $50 per sale from CBprosense? Sounds simple? Maybe it is simple. Nonetheless, there are details, and heaven and hell are in the details!
First, in the interest of full disclosure, let me point out that I am presently a CBprosense user. I have used Google AdSense in the past, and decided to switch.
First, you’ll have to tell Google whether you’re a company or a one-man
show. That’s important because it tells them where to send the money. (In
general, it’s better to get your money by direct deposit; Google charges for express mail checks.) You’ll also have to choose whether you
want content-based ads, search ads or both. (Content-based ads are
better but I’ll tell you how to benefit from each.)
So you want to make money with Google Adsense? I don’t blame you, who doesn’t want residual income! This article will show you how to better optimize Google Adsense to make more money from your web site(s).
Before we get into it, learn more about Google Adsense here:
First and foremost is: Positioning
Where you position your Adsense link boxes and banner ads is extremely important. Trying to make money from the bottom of your pages within your website just won’t cut it. You need to add your Adsense links right in the heart of your template or right in the heart of your content. I would personally suggest both actually.
Adding Adsense in the heart of your template:
Since the introduction of Google Adsense “link units”, we can now add what looks like a “menu system” to compliment our menu system within our website. This is HUGE. Have you ever just clicked on a website and kept clicking on the menu links? I know we all have. By adding a “Google link units” to your menu, you will get more clicks than you thought possible. Try adding the link units near the top for better performance and try creating your link units to match the color of your menu system in place. Once in a while I find myself clicking on a menu link unit without even realizing it which in turn gives more money to the website owner.
